About Alfie
Meet Alfie, the loving and loyal pooch! He loves being around people, is good at following commands, and always wants to please you. He's friendly and funny, always up for a play or roll in the grass.
People are Alfie's favourite thing - he greets anyone and everyone with enthusiasm, and loves getting lots of pats and affirmation. His tail never stops wagging when he's playing or getting treats. Even when it looks like he's taking a nap, he'll open one eye to check where you are - loyalty at it's finest! When you're working from home or watching tv, Alfie will lay at your feet to keep you company.
Alfie is great with cats and is looking for someone who's home more often than not and who can help him become more comfortable around other dogs. An ideal home would have a big closed off backyard without dogs passing by so that Alfie has plenty of room to play and run around. He loves digging in the dirt, so having an area where he can do that safely would be perfect!
Adoption details
When enquiring about a pet listed with Home2Home, your enquiry goes directly to the pet’s owner - the person who knows them best!
It’s a great opportunity to ask any questions you may have about the pet, including its likes and dislikes, needs, and how it may fit into your lifestyle and family.
From here, the owner will be in touch with you to chat a bit more about their pet, and if they feel your home is the best fit, they will arrange a ‘meet and greet’ for you all to get to know each other.
Should this prove successful, arrangements will be made for the pet to move straight from its current home into yours upon payment of the adoption fee.
The adoption fee is paid directly to PetRescue (via a secure payment link), and assists us to continue to run and develop programs to assist pet owners, just like Home2Home.
Change of Ownership paperwork will be completed, vetwork history will be provided and your new family member will be snuggled on your couch in no time!
