About Nami
Meet Molly! A sweet young dog who is in need of a patient person to build her trust. While she is lacking in confidence, she can be very friendly and excitable when meeting new people. This can sometimes lead to her throwing her weight around and jumping up. Such boisterous behaviour will be too overwhelming for young kids.
Training using positive reinforcement techniques should bring about less boisterous behaviours in the future.
Adopters will also need to be physically capable of handling a large dog, and one that will like putting their nose to the ground and take you after a scent.
Talking about scents, Molly will need a very secure yard (and supervision initially) to ensure she does not get out to chase after a scent without you.
Molly has history living with other dogs and has shown positive signs when meeting other dogs at the shelter. Therefore, a canine companion and role-model may be beneficial. If you think there might be room for this long legged lady in your home, consider meeting her today!
