About Dusty
What can we say other than this is one beautiful tabby. Rather than your standard grey she is a soft powder or dilute grey. She is also extremely entertaining. We have nicknamed her swiper and in a flash back to the Dora the explorer days seem to spend our days saying Swiper no Swiping! She uses her soft paws not claws so its a batt not a real swipe but she loves to swipe the other kittens when she plays and hide under the lounge and swipe at the cats as they go past. She is endlessly entertaining :-)
She was dumped on a farm with some prawns on boxing day and spent about three weeks there before being caught and brought into care. So she is still quite shy around strangers but follows her carer around the house and loves to be patted and to rub against them for affection. Her adopter will need to be aware that it may take a good week or two for her to settle into a strange new home and really start to come out of her shell again so they get to see her full personality.
Because she is still a little shy we are looking for a quiet home without young kids so that the transition is easier for her. She gets on well with other cats though does like to swipe them from under the lounge when they aren't looking so probably better with more easy going or younger cats who are not likely to take offence at that.
