Sunrise is the most sweetest, 16 week old pup you will meet. She is very sociable and well behaved. She has learnt doggy manners and is not shy about meeting new canine friends. Sunrise’s Mum was a large cross breed so we estimate that she will grow to approximately 30 kgs. She is now 12.4 kg.
Sunrise is a fan of all creatures, great and small, plus all humans she meets. Due to her young age, she has sharp puppy teeth so will need to be monitored around small children. We are not sure if Sunrise has come across any cats in her short life, so a well planned introduction must be organised before taking her into a home with a cat.
Her ideal home is one with an active family who will include her in their daily activities, and she must have access into the family home. She will need ongoing positive training and mental stimulation. Sunrise would love to be rehomed with another canine friend of any size who she can romp and play with, but if she was to go to a home as the only dog she will need ongoing socialisation/play-dates with other dogs and a family who will not leave her alone for long hours.
If you would like to meet Sunrise, please send us an informative email to sasrescue@gmail.com telling us about your family, exercise regime, lifestyle and existing pets (if any) plus any other information you feel relevant regarding the home you can offer Sunrise so that we can see if you are a good match. The “meet and greet” will be in the Eastern Suburbs.
Medical notes
Sunrise has been vet checked, microchipped, and is on flea and worm and heartworm treatment and has had her first and second vaccination.
Sunrise is too young to be desexed and will be desexed when she is more mature and in consultation with our rescue vet at Beverly Hills Animal Hospital. The cost of desexing is included in the cost of the adoption fee if the desexing is carried out at our rescue vet as noted above.
Adoption details
SAS will arrange a "meet and greet" with our rescue pet and we offer a two week trial period if we feel that the rescue pet and the prospective family are well matched.
Most interviews will be held in the Maroubra area of Sydney
