About Crabapple
** IN FOSTER CARE IN WOLLI CREEK**
Crabapple is a vibe!
From her a wild perma bed hair to her resting grump face, she makes an impression everywhere she goes. Crabapple came into care very worried about the world, she didn't have much socialisation as a pup and at 8 months old she has been playing catch up to learn that life can actually be pretty fun.
Whilst she has come along in leaps and bounds, she still has a ways to go, she will need a family that will proactively help her build her confidence in new situations whilst also understanding that this needs to be done slow and steady. Crabapple loves to play with her dog friends in care and they have really been the catalyst for her progress so it's imperative her new fam have another confident furry friend she can hang with. She's a little weirdo in the best of ways and everyday she reveals a new cheeky layer!
MY IDEAL HOME: I am looking for a home with another playful dog for company, I really come out of my shell with a fur friend. My new family will be home more often than not and understand I am still learning how to dog and will need patience and understanding.
MY ENERGY LEVEL: I love to play with my small dog friends and still get up to puppy antics at times, I will need a daily outing but don't worry, we don't have to run a marathon together, just a gentle stroll and a play at home.
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: I am quite a shy girl and am best living in a home with humans 15 and up.
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: I currently live in a busy dog household and get on great guns with the small dogs I coshare with. I have been getting braver with the big dogs and will happily snuggle up with them when it's nap time but do need some postive socialisation with big pooches out and about.
I also share with a cat and have not been too bothered by her.

Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
Please consider, that a Maggie's Pet is a pet for Life, before adopting.
