About Brindi
Warm up your patting hands and make sure your toy box is full, because brindle beauty Brindi is ready to find her forever family! Our brown-eyed girl has mountains of love and affection to share with her human and canine friends of all sizes. 3-year-old Brindi loves playing with her greyhound foster siblings, and is great with other dogs while out and about. She gets so excited to see her friends (including ones she doesn’t know yet, because everyone is Brindi’s friend, obviously) that she sometimes forgets to keep all four paws on the floor, but her foster family has been very helpful in reminding her not to jump up on strangers and visitors. Gumtree Greys can also offer training resources to help you and Brindi continue building polite habits through positive reinforcement.
Brindi is cool and collected with kiddos nearby and more than happy to soak up their attention, but can be excitable and may not be the best fit for a family with very tiny tots!
Clever, loving and confident, Brindi wins hearts everywhere she goes with her brilliant good looks and sunny personality. She took to pet life like a pro, is fully toilet trained, learned to leave the recycling in its box, and is very playful! As if that wasn’t enough, she’ll also have you giggling at her somewhat peculiar sleeping habits. Brindi has been known to fall asleep while playing with her toys, and has a nightly routine of drifting off with her front half on her human’s bed and her back feet on the floor, before sliding into her bed to continue her well-earned snooze.
Brindi would be happy in a home with a resident dog. She’s happy to stay home while the humans do boring stuff as long as she has canine company. Does Brindi sound like the girl for you? Get in touch!

Adoption details
Dogs are pack animals and Greyhounds, in particular, are very familiar with being surrounded by other dogs in their racing kennel environment. For this reason, when left alone without people or other dogs for company, some can be prone to separation anxiety which can manifest in destructive and/or noisy behaviour.
As a result we look to rehome dogs into households where they are not left on their own for more than 4 hours per day on a regular basis, without either people or another dog for company. We are happy discuss strategies such as a dog walker or doggy day care. Going to work with you is also a great option

Following your initial application, we conduct a home check. Our dogs are placed on a two week trial. The adoption fee is paid at time of placement and reimbursed if the trial is unsuccessful.
After the trial period is deemed successful, the adoption process is finalised.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
The rescue group has removed this pet and it is no longer available for adoption.
