Rosie is very good natured and with guidance and direction she will be great as she learns quickly. She is truly funny with the bum wiggles, head tilt and tongue always out. You can't help but smile when looking at her.
If she could talk human, this might be what she would say...
"Hi, my name is Rosie and I am a very funny and loving girl. My enthusiasm for all things people and other furry friends can seem a bit much sometimes, but I am learning and soon will be MAGNIFICINT. As you see, I learn quickly and want direction and guidance on what is ok and what isn't. My foster mum is giving me that and it is making me a calm, happy and loving girl. Did I mention funny? Yep, that's me. Hilarious is the word my foster mum uses.
Look out world, cos here I come! Ready for cuddles, companionship and to give you lots of love and laughs.
I am generally toilet trained, sleep through the night and can walk on a lead. I have pretty good recall and can sometimes sit. I love love love cuddles and a shower.
I can be a bit wary of strangers, and often bark at them, but after I get to know them and you tell me NO, I stop me barking as I learn quickly. I don't love being on my own, as I have always been with another dog. I want to play with other dogs, but don't always understand their boundaries, this is a work in progress. I am not aggressive but not a wall flower either and things can escalate when I don't read boundaries, but my foster mum is working on this, and I am learning quickly. I love food and have lost a bit of weight recently so my person will need to help me watch my weight as I am looking very good these days!”
Rosie is an absolute cracker and with continued training and guidance, will make an absolutely wonderful addition to the family.
Rosie was a lock down puppy living in a small court yard with her brother and has not had much experience of the outside world but is very curious and proving to be adaptable. Her carer has become unwell and can no longer look after her and her brother.
Her ideal home is one where someone is home more often than not, as she gets a bit of separation anxiety and ideally with another chilled dog, who doesn't mind a playful and cheeky pup in their face and wanting to play. She can also be an only dog but would need attention and lots of cuddles. She is absolutely wonderful.

All our dogs are desexed, C5 vaccinated with intranasal, microchipped, wormed, and flea treated. All necessary vetwork such as dentals, surgery, eye treatment are also carried out. We are no longer heartworm testing as we have not had one positive test since we began in 2006. If a dog comes to us on heartworm treatment this is continued.
Medical notes
Weight: 14kgs
Health: Rosie has had extensive surgery to sort her breathing difficulties.
Adoption details
We are a community fostercare network, not a shelter, and our dogs and cats are cared for in private homes. Note that we are very careful where we rehome our dogs and cats and we have an intensive process. If you want a quick turnaround we are not the group for you. If you seem like a good match for the dog of your choice we will organise a telephone chat, a meet and greet and a property check. We offer free assistance for six weeks for any issues, a lifetime takeback policy with full refund of the adoption fee, and will always be available to offer advice.
We care for our dogs and cats and we want you to as well. We know that genuine applicants have no trouble with this process and understand that if we refuse you a dog or cat, it is because you are not the best match for that pet.
Our commitment to the dogs and cats in our care is total and we treat each one as if we are passing on a family pet. This may not suit you so we point out that there are equally great dogs and cats available in pounds, shelters and with other rescue groups.

We look forward to receiving your application.
