About Snorkel
** IN FOSTER CARE IN NEWTOWN**
Where are all the real dog lovers at?
Honestly, we're confused. Snorkel is one of the greatest dogs we've ever met but in a year of foster, she hasn't had a single application. Are people put off because she's a Bully mix? We really hope not - not only are Bull Terriers one of one of the most misunderstood dogs, they're also one of the best — they're funny, curious, confident, hardy and loyal. If you're a real dog lover, or if you've looked at Snorkel's bio before and been on the fence, please take another look because this is a once in a lifetime dog that deserves the best home in the world.
Snorkel is that rare mix of majestic and goofy - she has the profile of an egyptian hieroglyph, but the cheeky smile and jaunty walk of a charismatic cartoon canine. She's mischievous but not unruly — one of those awesome dogs that can be attentive and well-behaved when you need, but who can cut loose into a cheeky muppet at the appropriate time.
The Snork loves a walk! She's matured heaps in foster. Her incredible fosters Anu and Marteen have worked on manners and training and she's now the loose lead queen and loves to greet her public out and about. She's gregarious and friendly with all, especially other dogs and kids of all ages.
So, are you: a real dog lover, with an active lifestyle, who loves a cheeky, confident dog and who likes to buck the status quo? Well what are you waiting for? Come meet this gorgeous girl at the very least, she'd love to give you a kiss.
MY IDEAL HOME: My ideal home is with humans who have a bit of experience with bully breeds. I would much prefer a yard or regular access to open spaces for a run or swim. I do need someone home more often than not whilst it's okay to be alone.
MY ENERGY LEVEL: Snork is energetic, but not overly so - like all bullies (and two year old bullies at that), she needs two good walks a day, preferably with some time to zoom and a good play session with toys. She's not all energy though, she's an EXPERT at snuggling.
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: Kids love Snorkel, and she loves them, but we never recommend a young bully with kids under 7 - nothing to do with temperament, it's just not a good size match up.
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: Snork loves dogs, but as with all bullies, she'd thrive in an environment with similar-energy dogs, or with someone committed to consistent work to make sure her energy levels aren't mis-matched with the other dogs in her world. She's not suited to a home with cats.

Adoption details
We ask all people looking to adopt to fill in our adoption enquiry form.
For Cats: https://form.jotform.co/92940837256870
For Dogs: https://form.jotform.co/80677377750872
Please use these links rather than the 'Enquire' button on the pet's PetRescue profile to streamline your enquiry.
Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
Please consider, that a Maggie's Pet is a pet for Life, before adopting.
