Hi, I'm Catfish! I'm a mature and gentle pup who would make an excellent addition to any home. At 14kgs, I'm not overly active, but still require exercise and stimulation like any other pup.
I get along great with kids of any age and am very affectionate and cuddly when it comes to my family. Though I may jump up in moments of discomfort or seeking reassurance, this is something that can be worked on with some training at home.
I don't do too well with other dogs so it's best if I'm the only pet in the household for now. Toys are a bit new to me, but I love the way they squeak and move quickly so maybe I'll catch on soon! Being inside with my family when they're around is something that would make me really happy. If my owners work full-time, no worries - I usually sleep under the bed here at the shelter and something like a cosy crate may be ideal for me while you're away.

Please remember that the pets we have available sometimes come to us with no history, so we do our very best to get to know them while they are here and to match them to your home. Sometimes animals behave differently outside of the shelter environment, so please do keep in touch after adoption so that we can help you settle your new family member in and address any unexpected behaviours.
How much does it cost to adopt?
The adoption fee for dogs covers C3 vaccination, health check, heartworm testing, desexing, micro-chipping, and registration.
The adoption fee for cats covers F3 vaccination, health check, desexing, micro-chipping, and registration.
