Hi, I’m Delaney!
When I first entered the shelter, I was a little scared of the new people and surroundings, but once I became comfortable, I changed into a friendly and playful puppy. I would suit most homes, whether you’ve owned dogs before or not!
A little about me, I’m super excited about life! I’m like a little wrecking ball. I love butt-tucking during zoomies and crashing into people's legs, so for this reason any children in the household should be at least 8 years old so I don’t accidentally knock them over.
I have met other dogs in the facility, and I LOVE them, maybe a little too much. I would be happy to live with other dogs at home, just bring them in to meet me first. I will need a patient dog who can stand having their entire face licked constantly, but also put me in my place when needed. My new owners will have to teach me some more appropriate and less annoying manners with other doggies.
I am still a young puppy going through major changes in life, so I may take a little while to learn what I can and cannot do in a home. It would be ideal to start training me immediately, maybe in a group setting with other dogs. I love toys and I’ve just worked out how to play with them! There may be other things that I chew that I shouldn’t be, but I need my new family to teach me this.
I’d love a yard with secure fencing, as running around and playing with toys is a great way for me to interact with my family and get some energy out. At the end of the day when my family is home from work, I’d love to share a cuddle inside and spend quality time with them.

Adoption details
Please remember that the pets we have available sometimes come to us with no history, so we do our very best to get to know them while they are here and to match them to your home. Sometimes animals behave differently outside of the shelter environment, so please do keep in touch after adoption so that we can help you settle your new family member in and address any unexpected behaviours.
