Meet adorable Dee Dee

The sweetest little snuggly girl is on the search for her forever family

Our affectionate and happy girl is a Mastiff x We think prob staffy weighing in at 24 kilos. Based on her current weight and size we are pretty confident that Dee Dee will be a standard med size girl at full growth

This adorable puppy is a cheeky and loving Dee Dee has been in a foster home with school age children and another dog.When she initially arrived she was very shy until she met her big foster dog brother and then she absolutely came into her own.

Dee Dee is more than comfortable being an only dog and would be fine living with children of school age as she is very gentle and kind.

Dee Dee loves to lay at your feet while you watch TV or laze about outside while you are enjoying the fresh air in the alfresco area. Dee Dee loves treats and is very motivated for them so her ongoing training and learning will be a breeze as she is eager to learn.

Dee Dee is happy to be left outside on her own while her family are at work but does enjoy the inside time with her family when they get home

VISITORS.

Dee Dee is Super excited to get visitors although a gentle approach is recommended as she can initially be a little shy but warms up quickly. Dee Dee loves children and is loving and affectionate towards them. With new people she can feel a little intimidated initially but with a few minute s and a gentle approach and of course a few treats she warms up well

ENRICHMENT

Dee Dee likes to lay on her day bed outside, or the floor pillows inside. She loves chasing balls, rope toys and playing with her fur foster brother. She is a fast learner and will thrive with a bit of training.When her family are away for the day a few treat toys for a bone keep her well stimulated

WALKS

Dee Dee is getting better and better each day on lead walks and she does respond better on a shorter lead. She isn't a big puller and can be easily corrected if she gets over excited to see other dogs. Her confidence of meeting strangers on lead still needs a little work as she as we stated can feel intimidated and will shy away but a gentle approach of encouragement works well.

OBEDIENCE

Dee DEe has good recall and will sit when asked. She has not yet had an accident in the house but is let our regularly

INSIDE

Dee dee loves snuggles on your lap. She loves to be with you. But is happy to be at your feet. She doesn't need to be on you all the time.

DOG SOCIALIZATION

Dee Dee is currently in care with another dog and loves playing with him.

She will still of course require ongoing socialization through her life to ensure she remains well socialized

SLEEPING HABITS

Dee Dee sleeps outside one of her beds. She sleeps through the night and is very settled.

IDEAL HOME

We are seeking a home for Dee Dee with a nice size secure yard with shade and shelter and grass to play. She would love a brother ( MALE) of med to larger size who is desexed, well socialized with others and loves to play and nurture a younger dog.She will also be ok as an only dog

We welcome families with children to apply but we would be seeking mature well mannered children who are kind and loving towards animals and do have dog experience

A home that are prepared to put in the time and effort to teach a younger pup the ways of the world and a home that has the patience to manage a puppy

We are seeking a home with NO bird pets as she is not suitable and she is not tested with cats so a no cat home please
