NOTE: You are unable to meet Kitty until/unless you have been notified that you are a successful applicant. An adoption cannot be approved unless you are able to come to the shelter to meet Kitty in person and bring any dogs you currently have with you.

What I need in my new home:
• Daily walks, trips to the park or beach, playtime in the backyard
• Further training with basic doggie manners
• I MUST allowed inside with my family
• I Cannot go to a home with another dog as i can have moments of jealously, but i am happy to socialise with them outside of the home and meet them on walks ect.
• Secure Fencing (6ft Colorbond or equivalent)
• Lots of toys and mental stimulation
• I can be shy at first so I need a family who'll allow me to grow in confidence in my own time
• I have lots of energy so an active family is a must
• I appeared scared of cats when meeting them at the shelter however once my confidence around them grows I might be more inquisitive. If going to a home with a cat they must be dog savvy and we must be introduced slowly.
• SOCIALISATION is as important for me as it appears I've led a very sheltered life and can be a bit nervous/shy in new situations particularly with men. Since being at the shelter I'm becoming much braver though. Taking me to lots of different places, meeting lots of people (children, men, woman etc) and meeting lots of dogs and other animals will help boost my confidence

Things that I don't want in my new home:
• To be left alone in the backyard without any interaction
• Not to be allowed inside with my family
• Never to go on a walk or rides in the car
. Other dogs, i prefer my family all to myself.

My best features:
• Very playful
• Wiggle butt
• I can sit
• I love attention and having snuggles with my humans
• Happy to hang out with other friendly dogs outside of the home.
• I LOVE toys, playing fetch and a game of tug-o-war
• Love to snooze on the couch
• Exuberant & full of beans

Where I need to improve / Training required
• I will require basic training as I've had little training experience.
• I am shy at first with new people particularly with men and in new environments so will require a family who will take their time allowing me to settle in and continue on with my socialization with positive experiences.
• I can be a bit bouncy -training should stop this
• I can be strong on the lead - training and walking me in a halti or harness may stop this.
