About Myrtle and Lily (Located in Croydon)
These two cuties look so similar, but are so different in personality. They are like Ying and Yang - They complement each other to make the perfect pair!
Since coming into care both girls have come so far. After spending their first 10 weeks of life on the streets, they were both so scared of humans. With lots of love and patience, they have come to learn that humans are actually ok and give goods pats and yummy food!
Myrtle, is the more confident of the pair. She was the first of her siblings to let us pat her. She can be quiet talkative and has the cutest little ‘trill’ that she will great you with as she enters a room! She loves to be near you and really enjoys a scratch around her ears and under her chin. She will happily curl up next to you, but doesn’t partially like being held yet. She is getting more comfortable with it- but will take more time and patience to see if she becomes a cuddle in your arms cat.
Lily, is much more shy and cautious. She will hang back a bit and assess the situation first. She loves to play with dangly toys- she lets her guard down and you can catch a glimpse of the confident girl inside. She just needs someone who with take their time and be patient with her. She loves her food and will quiet happily take food and treats from you. She loves her big sister and takes a lot of comfort and confidence from being around her. This is the reason they have been listed together.
Both girls are great with other cats. They have lots of foster siblings of different ages and personalities. They are both very confident with their foster dog sibling. They love to rub up against him and tease him by tickling his face with their fluffy tails as they walk past him! They have been busted playing chasing around the house with him!
They haven’t had a lot of exposure to kids- but were quiet overwhelmed when the noisy 5 and 3 year old nephews came to visit. They would probably be better suited to older teenage kids.
We are so proud of how far these two have come and look forward to hearing how they continue to blossom in their forever home!
