Socks is a sweet and gentle cat who has overcome a difficult past. She was left behind by a rescue when they only chose to take her beautiful grey kittens, leaving her to die. After coming to the rescue, Socks was quite sick and needed multiple trips to the vet before she was strong enough. Despite being unwell and pregnant, she still gave birth to two tiny kittens - sadly one did not survive, but the other was adopted by a surrogate mum whose story can be found on 2nd Chance Cat Rescue's Facebook page.
Now that Socks is back in good health, she and her daughter Patches have been able to get all their vetwork done. Socks loves being petted and has an incredibly loving disposition. We would love for her and Patches to be adopted together, but we understand that might be wishful thinking on our part.
