ADOPTION GUIDELINES

NO CHILDREN - SINGLE ADULT HOUSEHOLD ONLY- would suit OWNER WORKING FROM HOME - POSSIBLY SUITABLE AS A SECOND DOG OF SIMILAR BREED AND SIZE

The volunteers at the RSPCA shelter have written very favorable comments about Banjo - 'lovely away from the shelter; good to walk; pleasant company on a walk; can greet other friendly dogs while out walking.

Banjo was sadly surrendered as he struggled sharing his love ...when Banjo bonds to that one special person he had problems with sharing. This dog appears to pick his favorite person and just wants to be in their space. Banjo is not a lap dog and would be best placed in a quiet home with a dog owner familiar with the Cocker Spaniel breed and who can commit to putting in some significant training.

Go into this adoption with your eyes wide open, he is a soft and sweet looking boy who needs a go-slow approach to all handling especially in the early days post adoption. Banjo also needs some home alone, departure training and ongoing pleasant experiences at coping with restraint especially for veterinary and grooming procedures.

The adoption fee for BANJO is $550.00 which helps to cover the cost of mandatory de-sexing, vaccinations, microchip and a lot of care from the RSPCA crew. Who says you can't buy love?!
