About Lucy
Introducing Lucy!
Lucy is a gorgeous tri-colour Merle Koolie X girl who is 10 months old. Lucy is very gentle, sweet-natured and loves cuddles and pats more than anything in the world.
Lucy can be a bit nervous with new people and animals but she quickly warms up and is ready to be your new best friend within minutes. Lucy is house trained and just loves to be part of the action – she has been a very good assistant for her Foster Mum when working from home and will often be a shadow and follow her around. She is just happy to be with people and doing whatever you’re doing!
Lucy knows how to sit and wait patiently for her dinner. She is still learning her name but is already responding so well and coming when she’s called. Lucy likes to sleep in a crate or kennel where she can curl up and be comfortable - she will often take herself off for naps as well. Her lead training is also going well and she will now happily follow along next to you when going for walks.
As Lucy is so affectionate and loving towards her humans, she will thrive in a home with family members who are home more often than not so she can play shadow and be part of your daily routine. She is comfortable around other dogs after slow introduction but she prefers dogs her size that are a bit quieter so would benefit from an older, calmer doggy sibling. Whilst Lucy loves children, she still has some puppy energy and is learning not to jump up so would be best with a family with no children, or older kids above the age of 10.
Lucy will quickly become your best friend and loyal companion. All that she asks for in return is love, food and maybe some more training to keep her mind sharp! She is a very quick learner so further obedience training would be good for her confidence and also beneficial for her mental stimulation.
If you think that Lucy will be a good addition to your family, please fill out the adoption form.
Love & Licks,
Lucy
