About Bear - 4 Year Old Labrador X (On Trial)
Bear is an approximately 4yo lab x.
Aptly named, Bear is cuddly and comforting - like a teddy bear! You will be lucky to have this angel disguised as a dog in your life.
Bear gets along with everyone he meets, dogs and people alike.
He is not phased by much which means he would be the perfect addition to your family, and can slot right in. He has proven to be an all-round wonderful dog with a beautiful, calm nature (but also has a fun, goofy side!).
Bear loves to play with other dogs - he has gentlemanly manners when interacting with dog friends. Given the green light, Bear is known to play tug or get involved in rough and tumble games with other pups of all sizes.
Bear would need to have a slow introduction with any residential feline friends you may have.
Exceptionally obedient and eager to please, Bear knows how to sit and go on his bed. He is learning not to pull when on a walk and would benefit from ongoing lead training. He is toilet trained and is one of those sweet-natured dogs that will wait for permission before jumping on the lounge or your bed. He loves to cuddle and his signature move is to lean his whole bodyweight into you as a sign of affection.
Bear would be suited to a family with another playful dog for company. He is quite independent and will happily lounge about while you go to work or run errands. Bear is gentle with kids but would suit a family with older kids as he can be strong when excited.
If you are looking for an all-round gem of a canine companion, please email Bear’s carer finlayheilbuth@gmail.com. Bear is in care in the Lake Macquarie area and is available for adoption interstate. His adoption fee is $500 which includes all up to date vaccinations, desexing, microchipping, flea and worm treatments.
