Delilah

Were you drawn to our one eyed wonder Delilah? Otherwise known as Liiii-laaaa!
FYI, she also has no teeth and the tip of her tongue regularly pokes out :)

Little Miss Lilah has not had the best experiences a pampered house lion should have, and is finding all these new environments and people overwhelming.

For consistancy and to help Lilah build her confidence she has been spending time in foster care.
Adjusting to a new home and trusting people does take time for Lilah. Once you see her start to blossom, chat to you, ask for pats and all the food, you will realise the patience (and being on the recieving end of a few stink eyes) was well worth it.

To set Lilah up of success in settling in to her new home she does have a few specific requirements:
A quiet, adult only home is required, with a lot of consistancy and routine. A busy house with lots of visitors and children will unfortunately be too much for her.
Having her own safe room to adjust to first is a must, and understanding that this adjusting can take weeks, not days, before she then slowly starts to explore more of her new home.

AAAAAND, the most crucial requirement: another, cat social, cat in the home.
Lilah has tried foster care as a solo cat and struggled to make progress. Add the crucial ingredient of one of our super social RSPCA alumni and she has been making so much progress. So you can see, this is a must.
