About Max
This incredibly handsome man is almost ready to start his search for a home!
Max is a beautiful big shepherd who is very friendly and energetic. His absolute favourite thing to do is to play with toys, though he can be a bit snatchy at times, so will need to go to a home with only adults.
After suffering from a severe glaucoma in his left eye, Max unfortunately had to have the eye removed. We still think he’s just as handsome, and he certainly doesn’t let it stop him! As a very clever boy with great toy drive and a love for keeping busy, Max would be a great dog to train for dog sports such as agility or scent tracking. This would be far more enriching for him than the usual long walk or playing fetch.
Max would really thrive with – and needs – an owner who is experienced with working dogs and/or dog training, and needs to be the only pet in his new home. Though he is friendly with other dogs, Max would really benefit from controlled, positive socialisation with dogs to help him gain some experience with them.
If you think you could be the one to help Max reach his potential, please email enquiries@bluecrossanimals.org.au. for a dog adoption application form.
