Currently in Perth and seeking someone wanting to foster to adopt, or an adopter!

Hello. My name is Maxx. I am 44kg of love. I am looking for a forever human to follow, snuggle on the couch with and stare at adoringly.

I've had a bit of a rough trot in life, but I'm very resilient and a quick learner. I've already learned the basic commands. *wags tail*

I haven't been exposed to much outside my foster home, so I've yet to learn my doggy manners, like how it's not such a good idea to rush up and bark at horses... (boy, it was strange meeting them for the first time!). I've also learnt about these things called leads and while am not perfect, am getting there. And boy - I love getting out for a sniff! And fetch! And toys! I have two very special soft toys that I rotate carrying around with me gently.

As a big dog, I sometimes forget I'm not small & don't realise how strong I am and make mistakes. So I need someone experienced with big dogs that can help me work on this. I tend to bark when I get over stimulated - but the more I get used to things in this new world, the better I am becoming. Did I say how hard I am trying?

I haven't had much experience with other dogs or children - I'm over-eager to meet them. I know my foster mum is keen to help me - but this might be a bit of a journey for me. Safe believes I'm a lover not a fighter and just need some guidance and manners.

I need a good sized yard & to be exercised daily. I am comfortable being at home by myself. I also travel well in a car (particularly if the window is down so I can sniff all the sniffs!)
