Being a little shy, This delightfully gentle Elowen needs a bit of encouragement and patience for you to earn her trust. But then, she gives her love boundlessly, she will sit there and just look at you so lovingly. She loves her soft toys and always has one in her mouth, but never mauls them or destroys them. She is quite obedient and even though she gets so excited when you return home, she does not jump up all over you,

Elowen is banned from the kitchen for safety and hygiene reasons but temptation can sometimes lead her astray and she has been known to pick something of the bench and bring it to me, almost like she is checking with me to see ask if it is ok for her to have it. I have only little dogs and as they cannot reach the bench to help themselves, this is a new phenomenon for me.

Elowen loves children and is very gentle with them. She interacts with other dogs very well and loves to play with them. Her recall is not bad but has not been tested in a high stress situation. Elowen has not met any cats yet so we do not know how she will react, but I don’t believe there will be a problem because of her laidback gentle nature.
