About Roxy
Roxy is a nine week old German Shepherd cross whose is looking for a new home. Her mother is a German Shepherd x Belgian Malinois, and her father is a Dutch Shepherd. So she may be an energetic dog.
Roxy is so wanting a home where she can connect with her family and show how much love she can give to her humans.
Roxy may be an energetic playful dog who will be suited to a home with either a single person or a couple that have experience with the German Shepherd breed and have the time and commitment for this young dog. She will be good with constant companionship eg family members at home (and maybe another young dog).
We want Roxy to go to a home where she will be an integral family member. She has lived with cats.
Intelligence, loyalty, love and companionship is what Roxy will give in abundance when she connects and builds that trust with her new owner.
If you understand the nature of the German Shepherd, have recently owned this breed, and are looking for a companion dog then please consider Roxy.
If you think you can give me a new home please contact us by selecting "Enquire about Roxy".
If you live in Queensland or Victoria, you can be considered, however you will need to be able to drive to Windsor with your family and any dogs to meet Roxy. If for any reason she doesn't fit your family you will be responsible for bringing her back to Sydney or helping us to rehome from your home.
Medical notes
Roxy has been microchipped, vaccinated and wormed.
She will be desexed at 12 months as recommended by our vets.
Adoption details
We have an Adoptions Manager who screens all prospective candidates as to their suitability to adopt a German Shepherd Dog.
We try to contact every one by phone but if that isn't successful we will email our application form to you, which needs to be completed and returned, or you can call us back and we can chat and complete for you. We will also ask you to provide photos of your yard and fencing to enable us to see where the dog will be kept and that they have areas of shade and shelter.
All our dogs are ready to go to their new home, so when you enquire about a dog you must be in a position to take them into your home. We are unable to hold a dog while you fix your fences or go on holiday, etc.
The successful candidate who adopts one of our dogs is provided with an information kit, ongoing support, training and advice on all aspects of feeding, training and general assistance to ensure both the new owner and our rescued dog settle into their home.
