Hi there! My name is Jordan and I’m looking for my future family!
I came in with my friend Rey and sadly no one came to collect us. I’m very sweet and affectionate and would suit even a first time owner, as long as they are committed to offering me professional assistance with confidence building.
Here at the facility I haven’t shown interest in toys, but it’s probably because I’m not very comfortable here and it’s a bit scary with so many dogs around. Hopefully when I get home I can be happy enough to act like a true puppy.
Due to my initial timidity, I would be best suited to meet kids who are at least 5 years old. I have met some dogs here at the facility and I seem to like females more than males. If you have a female dogs at home, bring them in to meet me!
I’d love to be able to be indoors with my future owners, I’m very affectionate and would love to feel like part of the family when your home while also having access to the backyard with high and secure fencing. I probably haven’t been indoors before so I would love to learn my new owner’s routine.
I love hugging my carers and trying to sit on their laps. I find it very comforting as I am a little timid and require reassurance a lot of the time. I haven’t learned how to walk properly on lead yet, at the moment I mostly just crawl along the ground. Hopefully once I’ve had a few professional training sessions I can build my confidence enough to walk normally!
Medical notes
When one of our pets finds a new home, our team then book into the Council's contracted vet for them to be desexed (the next business day typically). We will transport your new furry family member to our vet for desexing in the morning. In the afternoon, you can then collect your furry friend from the vet following their procedure.
Adoption details
Please remember that the pets we have available sometimes come to us with no history, so we do our very best to get to know them while they are here and to match them to your home. Sometimes animals behave differently outside of the shelter environment, so please do keep in touch after adoption so that we can help you settle your new family member in and address any unexpected behaviours.
