-Open to meet other dogs

-Approx. 20kgs
Hi, I'm Owen. I am young, playful and very smart, and can't wait to please you.
My ideal home would have time and patience to enrol me in puppy school as soon as possible! My carers have been helping me with my basic obedience and they tell me I'm doing great! I’m an active boy who is full of beans and will need a yard in which is secure as I'm very smart and cheeky and want to be where the action is.
Fencing surrounding the yard should be high and secure as I am going to be a big boy! I definitely need to work on my leash manners so would need someone who can take me on a couple short walks every day! I have met other dogs here at the facility and I would be open to having a doggie friend! Bring any existing dogs in to meet me first.
I’d be open to meet children of all ages! When I first meet people, I can be a little nervous, but that quickly disappears when they let me approach first. This means my handler will need to help stand up for me in situations when I'm nervous and uncomfortable while I'm learning to socialise. Once i know you, I love affection and am very cuddly.
I am toy obsessed! I love chasing anything that moves and can entertain myself with a sturdy, fun toy! If you can give a young guy like me home, press the button below!
Medical notes
When one of our pets finds a new home, our team then book into the Council's contracted vet for them to be desexed (the next business day typically). We will transport your new furry family member to our vet for desexing in the morning. In the afternoon, you can then collect your furry friend from the vet following their procedure.
Adoption details
**All pets' adoption fees are half-price during March**
Please remember that the pets we have available sometimes come to us with no history, so we do our very best to get to know them while they are here and to match them to your home. Sometimes animals behave differently outside of the shelter environment, so please do keep in touch after adoption so that we can help you settle your new family member in and address any unexpected behaviours.
How much does it cost to adopt?
The adoption fee for dogs covers C3 vaccination, health check, heartworm testing, desexing, micro-chipping, and registration.
