About Minty
Minty is a beautifully dainty tabby, with pretty, delicate features. She has a cute black spot on one side of her nose, and tiny white feet.
Minty adores her brother Monte, and runs laps of the house with him. She loves shredding cardboard and balancing on window sills in the sun ☀️
Minty likes places like couches and ottomans where she can take comfortable naps. She is not particularly big on climbing generally, but prefers to sleep curled up against the window as close to the sun as she can get!
Minty loves being a lap cat from and seeks out her humans for this affection. She will chase a toy if you twitch it for her, but prefers to be a snuggly love bug.
While Minty would probably be fine as an only cat, she’d prefer to be adopted with her brother or another friendly kitten to play with.
Minty is desexed, 1st vaccinated, microchipped, flea & worm treated and lifetime registered.

Adoption details
ADOPTION PROCESS:
1. An Adoption enquiry should be made via
https://form.jotform.com/shellys.place.rescue/adoption-enquiry
2. Once your application has been received, one of our volunteers will contact you for a phone interview. This is to determine whether one of our cats or kittens will be a good fit for your home. We all want long-term success in placing rescue animals, so finding the best fit for the animal AND the family is very important.
3. 'Meet & Greet' with the animal and their carer will then take place if the application is approved.
4. A Property check will take place via a video call (due to Covid restrictions). Once this has been successfully completed, adoption paperwork finalised and the adoption donation processed, the pet can be collected from foster care.
5. A 14 day settling-in period commences once the animal has been collected from foster care.
6. Adoption is finalised after 14 days. Paperwork/records will be included in an adoption pack.
7. All animals for adoption are kept up to date with vet work until the date of adoption. The pet will be rehomed desexed, vaccinated, microchipped and treated monthly for fleas and intestinal worms. Once the adoption is finalised, the new owners are responsible for all vaccinations and preventative treatments.
As we are run entirely of volunteers we endeavour to respond to your enquiry as soon as we can. Your patience is greatly appreciated.
PLEASE NOTE: We are unable to hold any animals. Please only apply if you are ready to adopt now.
