About Cowboy
** IN FOSTER CARE IN CROWS NEST**
Cowboy is a rare pup - he's confident, friendly, medium level energy and easy to train. His happy place is being around his humans and playing at the park with a ball or tug toy.
Cowboy is food and play motivated, making it super easy to teach him commands.
In his foster home he lives with a two other dogs who he gets on very well with.
Cowboy has medium level prey drive and has chased the odd bird, but is easy to call off with recall.
MY IDEAL HOME: My ideal home would be with an experienced owner who understands the breed and how to get the best out of a dog like me, Cowboy.
I don't have super high exercise requirements but my ideal home must be willing to rack up some mileage on foot at least twice a day to drain my energy.
MY ENERGY LEVEL: When I'm at home, I am a couch potato. When I'm on lead, I'll happily plod along and at the park, I'll switch-on to chase the ball and have fun.
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: While I haven't had much exposure with children in my foster home, I am friendly with all people, big and small.
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: I am untested with cats. With dogs I am confident and keen to socialise, currently I share a home with a boxer and a koolie.

Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
Please consider, that a Maggie's Pet is a pet for Life, before adopting.
