About Kodah
** IN FOSTER CARE IN RANDWICK**
Kodah is a magnificent, smoochy gentle giant who loves nothing more than to be close to his people and sleep most of the day. He's a very chilled dog who is good with other dogs at the park (very gentle, particularly with little dogs) and loves to chew sticks and bones. Super well behaved and loves a good bit of tug o' war with his chew toys.
MY IDEAL HOME: Kodah is a fabulous house hippo, he is a big boy so does require someone who is strong enough to walk him, whilst he is quite good on leash he can pull at times. He understands commands such as sit, drop and even shake hands. He gets on well with kids who are at least his height (10+ years old). He can be a bit of a scaredy cat around really small kids.
Kodah is used to living in a small 1 bedroom unit so a smaller home with a balcony is not a problem. He would be great for a couple or family experienced with large breed dogs.
MY ENERGY LEVEL: Kodah is more of a couch potato than an excitable puppy but he can get playful and loves to play with his toys. He sleeps most of the day and requires at least 1 long walk/gallop each day.
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: Kodah gets on well with children who are at least as tall as he is, 10+ years old. He would not be suitable for smaller children simply because he is so big and heavy. He's a gentle giant and is more often scared toddlers than they are of him!
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: Kodah loves all other dogs and is excellent at the dog park. He would do well in a home with another dog. He generally is quite indifferent to cats but if his potential adopter has a cat already, it would be good to trial them together first.

Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
Please consider, that a Maggie's Pet is a pet for Life, before adopting.
