AFFECTIONATE BOY!

⁃ Hi, I'm Lachie! I'm very affectionate after getting to know you, but can be a bit timid with visitors.
⁃ I love being picked up and carried around and will sit on your lap if you have your legs up.
⁃ I also love belly rubs and really enjoy being brushed.
⁃ I love company and will gladly sleep on the bed with you but am OK with sleeping in a seperate room if necessary.
⁃ It's OK to leave me alone at home during the day as long as I get plenty of affection and cuddles in the morning and when you come home!
⁃ I like having places to hide, like under the bed and couch. But if you call my name I'll chirp and come out to greet you!
⁃ I sometimes have a rush of energy at night and become very playful, otherwise I'm not overly interested in toys.
⁃ I am litter trained, am an inside only cat and love food. I'm a bit on the chunky side and am currently on a diet.
⁃ I would be best suited to a quieter home with kids over 12 years. I am not tested with dogs or other cats so would be best as an only pet.

Our adoption process includes a two week trial period to ensure you and your adopted pet are the right fit.

The adoption fee of $275.00 includes desexing, microchip (including transfer of ownership), flea and worm treatment, vaccination and vet check.

SAFE Busselton requests that all persons adopting a cat adhere to responsible containment practices. As per the current Cat Laws in WA we encourage people to keep their rescued cat as a permanent indoor cat or with access to a safe cat run. It is no longer desirable to allow your cat to wander onto adjoining properties. Confident cats can also be trained to walk on a harness and lead. We ask that owners be responsible and keep their adopted cat safe at all times so that you will have a long and loving life together. SAFE Busselton reserves the right to select adoptive homes based on ""best fit"" for the pet. Although all applications will be considered, being the first application will not necessarily provide an advantage as the adoption committee considers many factors when matching animals to their new home.
