Zebo

Zebo is absolutely stunning, both inside and out. He is gorgeous to look at with his long lanky legs and black markings. In addition, he has a beautiful temperament. Zebo loves affection and thoroughly enjoys cuddle time with his foster carer – he will take any opportunity to jump in your lap and loves snuggle time on the couch in the evenings. This affectionate boy is happy to meet new people and make friends with visitors. Zebo is a playful pup who enjoys tug of war and digging in his sandpit area.

While in foster care, Zebo has been living with 2 adult dogs. He is very social and playful with his foster siblings but also likes to curl up with them at nap time. In general, Zebo plays nicely with the other dogs and has good doggy communication skills. However, he is still young and will require ongoing positive socialisation with other known dogs in controlled environments. Zebo is expected to be a large sized dog (around 30-35kg when fully grown) and will be a relatively active dog that will require daily exercise and mental stimulation.

Zebo enjoys learning new things and participating in training activities. He is a smart pup who already knows how to sit, drop (lay down) and will wait for his food and the release command at feeding times. Zebo is learning how to walk nicely on a lead and is growing in confidence out and about; however, he can still become overwhelmed in busy or loud situations when out so will need an owner committed to continuing positive socialisation experiences in appropriate environments. Sometimes, he can still be mouthy and jumpy like any young active pup so ongoing training will be an important part of his development. He travels well in the car so once his confidence increases, he will enjoy tagging along with you on adventures.

We are looking for a dog experienced home for Zebo where he will be a part of the family and included in the day to day activities. He will need a home with another playful and friendly dog and/or where someone is home more often than not. Zebo will need to be allowed inside to be with his people and will need a warm comfy bed to sleep on at night. He is currently crate trained and sleeps there without a peep all night. Zebo is expected to be fine to live with older dog savvy children with appropriate supervision and management. He is a bright and beautiful pup who is going to become an integral member of his new family for all the love and joy that he will bring.
