About Kylo
Hi I’m Kylo, I am a gorgeous 7 month old Standard Poodle
My foster mum says I have a shy but sweet personality and she is looking for a home that will allow me to continue to gain confidence and be part of a family and enjoy life
My foster mum says I have super model good looks but that’s cause she saw me in the ‘before and after shots’ – I came into care with a pretty matted coat and my foster mum sent me off to be groomed and the groomer did the very best they could do but at the moment my hair is short and growing back into a beautiful white coat, my foster mum says that even with a short coat she can see how handsome I am!
Ideally my home would be with a few people and a fur sibling – this will help with me getting some more confidence on playing and doing dog things. I am currently in care with all ages and sizes of dogs and none bother me.
I do have a few favorite fur sibling who have started to teach me to play and I do enjoy that. I love a bit of chase and wrestling.
I am a bit shy when meeting new people so will need to work on that with my new family – but if they give me the time and patience I do blossom and then have no worries and love to chill out with you while you do things.
My foster mum calls me her large lanky boy – I am currently 12.4 kilos but I do have the height! And from ground to shoulder I am 53 cms high – but most of that is legs – legs for days my mum says!
I would love to have a life where I am including in the families every day life – I don’t necessarily need someone home 24/7 however would also not be a dog that would be suitable to spend all my life In the backyard, I very much would like to be a part of the family.
Thru the day I’m happy to hang out inside with you, access to outside thru a doggy door would be awesome (learning doggy door) but I am toilet trained.
I am untested on cats but my foster mums says I’m young and also a good swipe of their sharp nails would probably sort me out pretty quickly.
I am currently hanging out with a 9 year old boy who I think is pretty good especially when he’s outside playing or lounging around on the couch watching tv.
I do have a coat that requires regular grooming so please make sure that you do remember that it’s a life time of grooming.
I am looking for that special family who will open their homes and hearts to a tall long legged lanky boy who just wants a family of his own to love - Will you be my new family?
** Please note applications will close Thursday 2nd March 2023 at 5.30pm

Once an adoption enquiry is completed our admin team will assess the application and if successful we will arrange for a meet and greet to be completed. We may also request photos of your yard for consideration of your application. Please note that we will do no more than 3 meet and greets per dog.
Approved applicants will be contacted to arrange a time for a meet & greet via email. You must bring your current dog along to the meeting if you are meeting another dog/puppy, this is to ensure they get along before commencing adoption - proof of your dogs up-to-date vaccination is required before any meet and greet is arranged.
Our adoption fee must be cleared in our bank account before any animal is available for pick up. Please note we bank with ANZ - any other bank may take 48 hours to process the monies.
Paw Prints Canine Rescue has a 10 day trial period – this basically means that if for any reason the adoption does not work out and the dog needs to be returned to us, the adoption fee minus an admin fee (minimum is $100) will be returned to the adoptees via bank transfer within 7 working days.
Please note that if an interstate adoption needs to be returned or regional adoption all transport cost with be paid by the adopter.
Please also note while this can be a very exciting time for everyone, it can also be an overwhelming time for dogs and we ask that you do try and allow your new family member to settle in their new home and adjust
INTERSTATE ADOPTIONS **
Any transport costs are to be paid by the adopting family, however we can assist you in helping with transport to airports etc.
** Please note some of our dogs are not available for interstate adoption
