About Uno
It’s time for our pint sized stunner Uno to find his forever home. This boy is a lovely small border collie mix and made his way to us from a rural NSW facility.
Uno LOVES other dogs. He has proven time and time again how social he is, and enjoys playing a good game of chase or rumbling with his doggy friends. We are looking for a home with another confident and playful dog for Uno to share his home with as other dogs are his happy place. His new owners should provide him with continued socialisation in the form of play dates or pack walks, rather than dog parks.
Uno’s background is unknown, but Uno struggles with confidence around people. He has never shown any form of aggression, but he is timid and takes time to warm up to people. He is the sweetest dog and is going to make someone an extremely loyal companion, but will require a home with understanding and patient owners who will work at his pace and help him build his confidence. Although he is a very easy dog to have around, due to needing confidence around people, he is not suited to novice dog owners. Having another friendly dog at home will help him find his feet more quickly.
We feel it’s in Uno’s best interest to find him a home in a quieter area away from inner city life. He is the perfect mix of energetic, but not over the top energy levels, making him perfect for a home that love the intelligence and look of the border collie, without having a dog that has no off switch. Uno is learning basic training and is toilet trained. He loves his crate and travels well in the car. Although not cut out to be a working dog, he has been exposed to livestock and would happily share his home with other farm animals if introduced properly.
Uno’s ideal family will be an adult only home. He has been fine with kids out and about, but due to being on the more timid side we feel he would appreciate a calmer household. A home where he will be allowed inside as part of the family and provided a warm bed inside of a night is a must. He will suit either a suburban or rural lifestyle and will need a good amount of daily physical and mental stimulation to keep him happy.
Uno is seriously the sweetest little man and is going to make a wonderful companion for her forever people. We cannot wait for Uno to find the caring and loving family he so desperately deserves. If you feel that is you, fill out an adoption application form on our fetching dogs website as the next step in the process and include some detail as to the type of lifestyle you can provide him with.

Don't see a breed attached to one of our dogs? That's because we don't breed label dogs of unknown genetic history. We can't guess at breeds but that's okay, because we can tell you about the dog's individual personality, character, and behaviour.
