About Roy
Meet Roy, our beautiful blue boy!
Roy is a very relaxed, very gentle 2 year old boy. He loves nothing more than human contact and affection but also gets on well with other dogs. Roy is easy to walk but is curious about everything and so likes to take multiple stops for sniffs and exploring.
Roy would do best with the companionship of either another dog (or dogs) or human when he is at home. He would get too anxious if left entirely on his own for extended periods of time. He currently lives with two whippets and can be left all day with them without fuss. He is very attached to humans and he does cry and bark for a bit if all the humans leave the house, although he always settles himself back down after a minute of two.
Roy is relatively low-energy and low maintenance but he really benefits from two walks a day. Each walk only needs to be 15-20 minutes or so, although he can go for much longer walks if you’d prefer. Other times he is happy to lie around the home or quietly wander around seeking some affection, or possibly a snack.
He is happy to sleep wherever you want to put him as long as it in the presence of another dog or human so that he feels part of a pack. Roy is toilet trained and has no special food needs.
