About Hugo - 3yo - Greyhound
RON: R251000253
Hugo
4 years old
Meet Hugo our gorgeous boy, who is ready to find his forever human.
Hugo requires an owner who understands neuro diversity in dogs, an owner who embraces the benifits of medication and who understands the need for them, a healthy body and mind.
High levels of cortisol, in the past have exhausted our boy. Hugo functions a lot better and is now starting to enjoy life.
Hugo is gentle, loves his people. He has no sleep startle, no food aggression, no separation anxiety etc.
He does like strict routines though, miss breakfast by one minute and you will know about it 😂
He loves his toys and loves to be challenged with enrichment toys and puzzles. He would be great at sniffari.
He is such a great boy! He is sweet, affectionate and loves to snuggle.
Hugo is calm and relaxed in the house and he is fully toilet trained.
Hugos fear reactivity (Barking) towards on leash dogs has dramatically reduced since he has been on his medication and with support from his new owner (Crossing the road) he can pass without stress. With a person who understands fear based reactivity Hugo will live a happy & healthy life.
Hugo’s ideal home.
- An understanding, patient and empathetic human.
- Medication knowledge.
- Another greyhound is fine.
- He would love a garden but can live in an apartment too.
- No cats
