About Millie
PLEASE READ ALL INFORMATION CAREFULLY
Millie our 9 month old Spoodle (Cocker Spaniel x Poodle) is ready to search for a home equipped to meet her needs.
Millie's date of birth is 19 May 2022. She is flea and worm treated, vaccinated, desexed and microchipped. Millie is good with other dogs however she would be best as an only dog due to some of her behaviours and needs.
Millie is a sweet girl, but a very complicated girl with very specific needs. Millie is currently being treated with Zylkene to help reduce her anxiety. We have certainly noticed a difference in Millie since starting this natural medication.
Millie's presentation and home needs:-
🐕 Millie needs a low stimulis home - a quiet home without children, without lots of people coming and going.
🐕 Millie needs a home that is dedicated to managing her behaviours and continuing to work with her.
🐕 Millie struggles to manage her emotions so currently requires management so she does not get over stimulated.
🐕 Millie has sleep startle so needs to sleep in a crate. She cannot sleep on a lap or on a human's bed.
🐕 Millie will resource guard items she determines is high value to her. Last night it was a little frog she found in the garden.
🐕 Millie is good with other dogs although initially she maybe intimidated by bigger dogs. We recommend however she be an only dog to aide in the management of Millie's behaviours and emotions.
🐕 Millie will need grooming to manage her coat.
Millie is a beautiful, super smart girl that deserves a forever home that is committed. Millie's foster carers are doing a brilliant job getting to know her and unpack her triggers.
In the right home Millie will excel in the wrong home Millie will continue to rehearse some of these behaviours.
So if you have carefully read through all of Millie's behaviours and needs and you want to know more please email us at phoenixarh@outlook.com
We are 100% committed to finding Millie the right home where she can be comfortable and continue to learn how to manage her emotions.

Adoption details
We like to take the personal approach where a person sends an email of interest around an animal and then we will follow up with phone discussions and email exploration through a survey.
Please note we are a small group of volunteers that balances the administrative side with the care of the animals.
Please only apply for one of our animals if you are genuinely interested in them.
We expect the prospective owner to travel to meet the animal and we are open to trial periods to ensure we have the match right.
