About Holly
Holly is still a young pup, her bubbly energy and excitement when you come home from work or doing the shopping will brighten your day. She is a great dancer when excited.
Holly is thoroughly on top of pet life. She loves her comforts, loves her routine and loves her humans.
Due to a change is circumstance of her original adopter, Holly is returning to the care of Gumtree Greys. This is no reflection on her as she is the goodliest pup and any home would be very lucky to adopt her.
Holly is great with all dogs, happy to meet them on her walks and is currently living with a Jack Russel Terrier. She loves to greet children but is a bit too bouncy to be in a home with small children.
Holly loves her 30 minute daily walk. She would enjoy two walks but only if the weather is good. This princess doesn’t walk in bad weather. Zoomies at home will suffice. Holly loves her toys and will keep you entertained with her juggling and bouncing off the furniture.
Holly loves the car but still asks for a helping hand under her backside to jump in. She is a master at stairs though.
Holly has always lived with another dog, so being an only dog is a bit uncertain, particularly if her humans are not with her most of the day.
Holly will look to her human in adoration, with her sweet eyes and kindest soul. Her cuddles will soothe your soul.
No cats or pocket pets
No full time workers unless some working from home or there is another dog
No children under six

Adoption details
Dogs are pack animals and Greyhounds, in particular, are very familiar with being surrounded by other dogs in their racing kennel environment. For this reason, when left alone without people or other dogs for company, they can be prone to separation anxiety which can manifest in destructive and/or noisy behaviour. Yes, they may "grow out" of it after a few weeks in their new home, but why put the dog through that stress to ultimately live all day alone, while everyone is at work? As a result we do not rehome dogs into households where they are left on their own for more than 4 hours per day, without either people or another dog for company.

Following your initial application, we conduct a home check. Our dogs are placed on a two week trial. The adoption fee is paid at time of placement and reimbursed if the trial is unsuccessful.
After the trial period is deemed successful, the adoption process is finalised.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
The rescue group has removed this pet and it is no longer available for adoption.
The rescue group is no longer taking adoption applications for this pet.
