Meet Stanley!

Stanley is a delightful, soft, gentle, large dog - very keen to please, quiet, easy going, and grateful to be loved and appreciated.

He is a wonderful family dog with a huge smile. He loves to be with you. He’ll watch TV with you, romp in the back yard, follow you around, sit nearby while you work etc.

He is very well behaved in the house, enjoys lying on his own bed, has mealtime manners, is toilet trained, uses a dog door, knows he’s not to get up on the furniture (but would love to), and sleeps soundly through the night.

Stanley is a strong boy (Labrador size with a big head) suited to people with large dog experience.

People who work from home, retirees, singles, couples, families with teenage kids etc would be perfect.

He is great on the lead and loves going for his twenty minute walk twice a day. He notices other dogs, but is happy to walk on. He is very well behaved in the car, and will gladly accompany you wherever you go.

In just two weeks Stanley has absolutely blossomed with a gentle food reward training program. He has learnt to sit, stand, wait, back (almost), drop, sniff (pause on walks to sniff, toilet etc), on your bed, leave it, and hop in (car). He’ll enjoy and benefit from further training as he is very keen to please.

He is used to being seat-belted and lies quietly on the back seat.

Overall, Stanley’s an absolutely beaut dog, the sort that naturally fits in, is a delight to have around, and you’ll wonder what you did without him.

Of course he’s vaccinated and health checked. With his soft nature and sad background, he deserves to be adored.
