About Bluey
Hi my name is Bluey,
I am an 11 month old Blue heeler cross. I live with my foster parents in Melbourne, and I am looking for a forever home, or a new foster parent or parents. My foster mum describes me as a lap dog trapped in a working dog body. In having said this I do however love my exercise.
I am toilet trained, walk on and off lead very well, I am good with recall, but when there’s distractions I forget to come back straight away. I sleep on my own bed next to my foster mum. I learnt to use the doggy door within the first 2hrs of arriving at my foster parents’ home, like any dog I need to reinforce my training.
I am best suited for a couple or single people, I’ve not been tested with cats or children, but teenage children will be ok. I play much better with medium to large breed dogs. I also love cuddles and affection and playing fetch is great too.
