About Chudleigh
Hi everyone my name is Chudleigh I’m a 7 month old German Shorthaired Pointer puppy.
I’ve come to helping hearts to find my FOR-EVER home…..
So a bit about me
I love playing fetch, having showers, eating goat horns and chew toys, well truth is I LOVE CHEW TOYS haha.
Im Currently living with 2 active dogs and 2 cats, I’m pretty happy playing with everybody, but I just want to make my people happy.
Im the very best boy when it comes to car trips, I love to feel the wind on my face but I also like to take a nap on the back seat, I have also been camping and was on my very best behaviour.
I have also been told I give the best hugs and kisses.
Because I’m an active breed I need someone 100% committed to continue my training.
Having knowledge of my breed is a bonus.
I am a smart boy I know how to sit, stay, high five, yes, no, get down, inside, toilet, outside, and I'm currently being trained to open my mouth on command for teeth checks.
I am crate trained and toilet trained and sleep through the night. One thing I am working on is walking on the lead, but my foster mummy at helping hearts have given me a new halti to try out, it’s a challenge but I think I’ll have the hang of it in no time.
My recall training is going well and I’m becoming more and more confident with interacting with humans and other doggos in public spaces.
I can be a little nervous at times and I do suffer from separation anxiety, so I’m currently on a low-dose medication to help me relax when I’m alone.
My ideal home would include a fur brother or sister to play with or a human that could take me to work with them or MAYBE BOTH how amazing would that be!
If you think you have room in your life for a goofball like me and can spare a thousand hugs and kisses, along with meeting my needs please reach out and ask my foster mum for an enquiry form, so we can learn more about you.
