Look no further than stunning Amber, the sweet, cuddly, and playful cat ready to warm your heart with legendary head nuzzles and fetch skills that will put most dogs to shame.

Do you often work from home and want an office assistant who won’t take over your mouse and keyboard? Amber is fascinated by movement on computer screens. She will diligently watch you work, and point out all your errors by pawing at your screen. Once she is done helping you edit your work, she will provide moral support by sleeping on your desk and making sure you have regular breaks by reminding you to pat her with a little chirp. After you’ve finished a hard day of work and want to relax on the couch, Amber will be by your side or on your lap purring her little heart out and making sure you feel loved and well rested.

Amber is a gentle girl but can be a bit unsure of new people. However once you earn her trust and develop a bond, she will be following you around and showing you love through her little chirps, surprisingly strong head nuzzles, and loud purr. Amber is also fantastic to have in your room at night – she’s quite content as a footwarmer and won’t disturb you during the night, so long as she gets enough belly rubs before you fall asleep.

Like all Maggie's pets, Amber is microchipped, desexed and vaccinated.

MY IDEAL HOME: Amber would be content with any type of home, be with a single, couple, or with a family with older children, so long as its filled with love and belly rubs. Amber would do best in a calm and peaceful environment, and her forever family will help her build her confidence around new people with yummy treats.

MY ENERGY LEVEL: Amber is a typical teenager and still quite playful, but is likely to be a moderate energy cat once she reaches her adult stage. Whilst Amber isn’t interested in dangly toys, you’ll know when Amber wants to play as she will bring you little soft toys and meow until you throw it for her to chase. But mostly she just wants cuddles and to be near you.

When Amber is exhausted from a hard day in the home office, she will retreat to a dark or high place where she can keep an eye on things. Its not uncommon for her to be found snoozing in the back of the wardrobe in her foster home.

MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: Amber will tend to retreat to a safe space when there is a bit too much going on, so would be best in a household with older children 12+.

MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: The ideal home for Amber would be where she is the only pet where she can dedicate all her love to her humans. Amber would however be fine with another calm and gentle cat. Amber is not suitable to a home with dogs.
