Slater is a very friendly 1yo male Australian Cattle Dog mix who is looking for his forever family. This country boy has come from a farm but has adapted well to suburban life.

Slater loves a pat or a scratch and is very people oriented, even when it comes to sleeping. He prefers to sleep close to people but is crate trained. Slater enjoys playing outside and going for walks.

He is best suited to someone who will include Slater in their everyday lives and who are committed to ongoing training to help Slater be the best friend he can be. He has shown no interest in the resident grumpy cat and would be happy with or without a doggy sibling.

Slater is toilet trained and has shown great manners when inside, especially around food – his own and his foster family’s. He has been an excellent house guest and will be a great friend for you.
