Max

Max is a gentle cat who needs a calm, patient home to help him feel secure. He should start in a small room to adjust gradually, as he can get overwhelmed in large spaces.

To make Max feel at home, provide plenty of safe spaces like scratch posts, cat trees, and hides (cardboard boxes and cat igloos), as well as access to shelves and dressers for both high and low safe areas.

Max would do best with older children who understand cat body language and can give him space when needed. He has previously lived with other cats and may do well with a social feline friend, but a home without dogs is recommended to maintain a calm environment.

Max came to us as a stray and has been quite fearful in the shelter, reacting to loud noises and the busy environment. With the right home, Max can thrive and show his true, gentle nature.
