About LJ
LJ is a sweet and snuggly French Bulldog looking for his perfect forever home in Melbourne. He loves the company of and to play with other dogs, especially larger breeds like boxers, and he is the perfect addition to a calm and balanced household. He has lots of energy and loves to have access to a level backyard with a doggy door so he can come and go as he pleases.
LJ feeds off your energy so if you are relaxed, he will be too! However, he can also sense when you are anxious which may cause him to mirror your emotions. Unfortunately, LJ has PTSD from being put away in a bedroom before, so it is important that his new home does not confine or keep him away from his people. But don't worry, LJ has been totally trustworthy around the house whether you're home or not!

Medical notes
LJ has had airway surgery, but he still has a narrow trachea so it's important that he is kept cool and calm.
LJ does also have a little wonky walk due to some hemivertebrae (common in French bulldogs), he is fully mobile and continent, but shouldn't let him over-do it.

Applicants will be assessed in terms of best suitability for the dog. A meet & greet and yard inspection are essential parts of the screening process.
The first 2 weeks for every adoption is a trial period to ensure that both the dog and family are a good match. And once everyone is happy the dog's microchip will be changed across to the new family.
