Marbles

If you’re looking for a dog that will love you more than anything in the world and is happy to go wherever you go, then Marbles is the one for you!

This girl is taking the world in her stride. She has slotted into foster care like she’s always been there - she’s a delight to have in foster care and has made everyone who’s met her fall instantly in love with her. Marbles is ready to be your adventure buddy, beach babe, coffee date and, to top it off she is the best cuddler!

Marbles is a very smart, switched on pup who picks things up quickly. Her foster carers have been doing an incredible job of setting her up to be a well balanced and well behaved canine doggy citizen. She travels well in the car and knows basic commands such as sit, drop and heel and is getting on top of toilet training. She is crate trained and quietly sleeps through the night in her crate. When you open your eyes in the morning she’ll give you the cutest look with a wagging tail, but will also understand if you need a lay in and will happily go back to sleep. We are looking for a dog experienced family and a family who are committed to her ongoing training.

Marbles is a confident and happy pup who loves exploring what the world has to offer. She is not shy to jump into the sea for a splash and doesn’t mind a bath afterwards either. She loves passing time by chewing on long lasting chews and leaves your belongings intact. She is right by your side when you’re around, but can also be left home alone in her crate with her kong without dramas. As she is a young puppy, she will require a family home more often than not.

Marbles is currently living with another dog who she absolutely adores. She came to us from a rural NSW pound where she was kennelled with many other dogs of different ages and sizes and she got along with all of them. She has barked at some other dogs on leash a few times while in care, and the foster carer has been doing some conditioning training in these situations, but her carer is not concerned about this being an issue as long as she is with a family who is committed to her ongoing socialisation like any of our pups require.

Marbles will require a good amount of daily exercise both physical and mental and would love to be included in family outings or activities. She is very friendly with people out and about, but has found children a bit overwhelming. Due to this, we will be looking for an adult only home or a family with teenage kids and older. She would do brilliantly in a home with another dog, but equally would be happy as an only dog lapping up all the attention from her humans. She hasn’t met any cats or pocket pets, but her carer feels she has the right temperament to live with other animals as long as correct introductions are done.

Marbles will require a home where she is allowed inside as part of the family and provided a comfy bed inside to sleep on at night. She is currently being fed a fresh food diet and thriving, so a family that will provide her with a good quality diet is essential.
