If you're looking for a goofy, quirky, and one hell of a character then Benny is your boy!
He is a 6 year-old Siberian Husky who loves his people more than anything. He also adores other huskies .
Benny is a bubbly and energetic boy who is well-behaved inside - he loves being inside so much that you will barely hear a peep from him! As much as he’s a lounge-lizard he also loves his walks and enjoys receiving attention from the people he meets when he’s out with you.
He would thrive with a daily walk, and with a bit of training he may make a fabulous jogging partner.
Must have secure 6 foot fence.
He is best suited to a home without small children, perhaps with a home with a semi-retired couple whose kids have already left the nest, and would be best being an only dog so he can make sure he gets all the attention himself!
Benny is the sweetest softest boy. He was found as a stray and was in the pound before he came to us. He was extremely unhappy, distressed and declining in the shelter, he needed to get out and into a family.
The day he arrived in foster he did a complete turn around. Happily playing with the other dogs, running and smiling and just full of joy. Benny loves company and friends. He’ll need a home with another dog, a calm female perhaps, bigger dogs, and people home more often than not. A decent yard and good fences would be great too. Benny is an inside and outside fog, he needs to be able to hang out with his people. Previous arctic dog experience preferable, because we need to know that you are ok with fluff.
