This sweet boy has been at the shelter far too long - waiting and waiting, yet somehow overlooked. He's been in foster care for a while, and he loved it there, thinking that might be his forever home, but eventually he had to return to the shelter. Despite having so much love to give, he hasn’t had a single enquiry. It breaks our hearts, because Ricky truly deserves a family of his own.

He’s a calm and affectionate companion who just needs a little patience at first. Once he feels safe, he adores gentle pats and belly rubs, and will follow you from room to room, softly brushing against your legs to remind you he’s there. He won’t climb into your lap, but he’ll sit faithfully by your side, content just to be near you.

Ricky is a tidy little gentleman who keeps his gorgeous orange coat beautifully groomed. He dreams of a quiet, cosy home with sunny windows to gaze out of, and humans who will cherish him as much as he will cherish them. A secure outdoor space with cat netting would make him even happier, giving him the chance to enjoy the fresh air safely.

All Ricky needs is someone willing to open their heart and give him the chance he’s been waiting for. After so long in the shelter, he’s more than ready to finally go home.
