Heya, I'm Asher! I'm an affectionate and sensitive young girl with the makings of a beautiful, loyal and loving companion.

I'm on the lookout for an understanding person (especially with breed experience!) who can be a dedicated owner for me - someone who can train and guide me into being the best dog I can be!

Despite my size, I can be rather worried with anything new. No matter if it's environments, people, or odd objects... I can get spooked! I'm going to need someone who can build a strong and positive bond with me to help my confidence. Slow introductions, verbal reassurance and treats will go a long way for me.

Once I get to know you, I'd love to spend some quality bonding time with you. Being allowed indoors and made part of the family is a must for me!

We can relax by playing with my toys. I'm a big fan of them - especially chasing after them and tossing them around! I think that's a super fun game. This on top of training (4 paws on the ground, verbal cues, luring techniques, etc) will give me plenty of things to do.

I can get worried about my collar being touched but I would like to learn that this isn't a bad thing. Continuing my "touch tolerance" training will help with that - the wonderful people at the shelter here can tell you more! :)

If there's any other dogs at home, I'd love to meet them at time of adoption. I'd be a great match for a calm and social friend. Oh, and if there are any teens at home, I'd love to meet them too!

No dog parks for me please - too overwhelming! I'd love to have positive doggie interactions at this stage.
