About Scooter & Toby
Meet Scooter and Toby. They are a 7yo bonded pair of Shih Tzu X brothers from the same litter.
Unfortunately their human dad has recently passed and whilst family would love to keep them their body corporate won’t allow multiple dogs.
Both are friendly boys with gentle natures who love playing, walks, people and plenty of pats.
They hadn’t been walked regularly in recent times due to the declining health of their owner. We understand Scooter pulls on lead more than Toby.
Mostly inside dogs but do enjoy a yard to play in. They love car rides and are house trained. Have their own beds but prefer to sleep with their humans…. Untested with cats.
Scooter and Toby are looking for a new forever home with a secure yard (one has dug out previously when they moved residence) where they can be companion animals.
Not suited to families with young kids and working parents.
They have been to the groomers this week so are sporting summer hair cuts.
MEDICAL
Toby needed a dental. Several teeth extracted and the rest descaled and cleaned.

ADFC house our dogs with volunteer foster carers in private homes.
They are given basic training and experience life in family situations with dogs, cats, children and various other domestic animals.
We then have an opportunity to discover their traits and personalities, likes and dislikes, and which dog may suit your family dynamics.
We offer a 14 day trial - $50 deposit. If the dog doesn't fit with your family, they are returned to us and deposit refunded.
To arrange a meet and greet with one of our dogs please send us a message.
The committee and carers of ADFC are all volunteers, so please be patient if we don't answer your enquiry straight away.
