Barney

This little guy is a beauty. BARNEY #2904 is 3.5 years old, loves to sit next to you or on your lap. He also loves going in the car and early morning walks. He's a little uncomfortable with larger dogs but he settled quickly with the carers' two small dogs. He's also been settled & happy with a carer without dogs. He probably hasn't been out walking much before so meeting people and dogs is new to him and he's been a little nervous at times. Walking in the forest he is relaxed. He wanted to chase roos so he should stay on a lead on the forest walks. He is also a little nervous of cars when walking in town but once he learns his new environment and routine he should be a delightful little dog to own. Barney shows affection and has a gentle nature. Barney is 14Kg and his meals need to be measured and limited because he wants to eat more than he should because he is very food orientated. As a positive, this makes training easy but he is already quite well behaved. We haven't tested him with children but feel that he would be fine with gentle and respectful children. Being a Jack Russell/Foxy we don't think chooks or pocket pets would be suitable. Barney is desexed, chipped, vaccinated. parasite treated, vet checked and ready for adoption now.
