Please meet OZZIE, a sweet-natured, playful and energetic Neapolitan Mastiff mix born on 9 December 2021.

Not as large as a purebred Neo, Ozzie is nevertheless a big dog. Gentle, affectionate, clever but goofy, he loves car rides, playing with other dogs and smooching with his foster Dad. He's house-trained and is accustomed to being an inside-outside dog.

Neapolitan Mastiffs are intelligent, loyal dogs. They're affectionate and gentle with family, and very keen to please. However, with big dogs come big responsibilities and Neos are innately protective of their home and loved ones.

For Ozzie to reach his full potential, he will need ongoing socialisation and training. He is probably too big to be a suitable companion for the very young and he's not a dog for the novice.

In the hands of an experienced large dog lover, he will be a magnificent canine companion.

As always, a securely fenced yard and the opportunity for daily exercise are essential for this breed.
