About Dexter
Hey there, I'm Dexter!
I came into the shelter at no fault of my own and am now looking for a place to call home.
I'm finding the shelter life a little strange at times. The main reason why I may be a bit frazzled in the shelter is that I am deaf. Being deaf means it takes me a little bit longer to learn what you are asking of me, so I would love my new family to be patient with me and understand my requirements.
I'm still a puppy and am yet to grow out of my cheeky side, so I would love lots of toys and food enrichment puzzles to keep my brain occupied, that'll make me one happy doggo. I would benefit from on-going training in my new home, preferably with a trainer who has had experience with working with deaf dogs.
I will need to go home with a compulsory balance harness, at an additional cost.
If you think I could squeeze my way into your heart, then head down to the Cranbourne shelter today.
Weight: 32.7kg (still a young adult so may grow a little more)
